Changes in Spam processing

February 12th, 2015

We’ve changed ho spam messages are processed. All incoming messages are checked for spam before they are accepted and delivered to user account. Messages that are 99.99% likely to be spam are rejected. If by some chance a legitimate message hits this threshold, the sender will know the message was not delivered.

This will not block all spam, and messages will still be tagged that are likely spam or even almost certainly spam and these messages will continue to be sorted into the Junk mailbox.

If you are forwarding your mail to another service, this should help eliminate delays caused by forwarding too much spam.

We’ll continue to monitor these changes.
